Most Americans, religious or not, have heard of and read part or even the entire Bible. It is arguably one of the most often referenced books in our culture.
The Bible is a diverse collection of writings, divided into two main sections:
We believe it is important to read the Bible on a regular basis for personal reflection and to study with fellow Christians to gain a deeper understanding of the Word of God.
Here are some of the current opportunities for regular Bible Study:
WELCA Bible Study – The Women of the church gather for Bible Study on a yearly theme once a month. See the WELCA information section of our website for times and places.

- The Old Testament, which tells the story of God’s relationship with and work on behalf of the Hebrew people
- The New Testament, which shares the story of Jesus, God’s Son, and his teachings, death and resurrection, as well as the experiences and faith of the first followers of Jesus
